Cookie policy
Every cookie and storage item OwnerSpec uses, what it does, how long it lasts, and how to refuse or withdraw consent.
This page lists everything OwnerSpec stores on your device. It is the detail behind the banner; the wider picture is in our privacy policy.
How consent works here
- Nothing optional loads before you decide. Analytics scripts are injected only after a yes. Before that, no Google or Microsoft cookie exists on your device.
- Reject is one click, in the same place as Accept. Refusing costs you nothing and the site is fully usable.
- You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Choosing “Reject” there also deletes the analytics cookies already set.
- If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask before anything loads. Elsewhere, analytics start with notice and a standing opt-out, which is what local law requires there.
- If we cannot tell where you are, we ask. Failure always defaults to the stricter option.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and to record your own choice. They are not optional and cannot be switched off.

Advertising
None. OwnerSpec runs no ad network and no remarketing. Google’s advertising consent signals
(ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are held at denied permanently, even
when you accept analytics.
Merchant cookies on outbound links
If you click an affiliate link, the merchant sets its own cookies on its own domain under its own policy. Amazon’s association cookie, for example, lasts 24 hours. We cannot set, read or delete those, and refusing analytics here has no effect on them. Your browser’s own cookie controls do.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear local storage for a single site. Blocking strictly necessary items may mean we ask for consent again on each visit.
